HOW DOES PAPER ISLAND DATING WORK ?
"PAPER ISLAND DATING" is a new conceptual dating-platform invented by and created by DJ Skipper.
ACT 1
Easy. It is a hub for single-travellers. A neutral ground. No fees involved.
Just show up, and meet new friends.
There is coctail bar-wagon and nearby coffee-shops.
ACT 2
When you meet someone you like, the point is not to promote yourself. If you have common dynamics, you probably have friends at home (where you live), that are singles, and need a friendship.
ACT 3
Pick up your smartphones and contact your friends, and make them meet on WhatApp, Zoom, etc. Very easy. No hazzle. Your Mother-in-Law may need a new romance? Or, your childhood boyfriend may need a new romance? Perhaps you and your new friend from Paper Island Dating want to visit the city together, and talk about things at a cafe.
In Danish language we call it "Kirsten Giftekniv". Very amuzing. It is match-making, and YOU are the match-maker. Maybe someday YOU will be invited to a wedding.
It is right on the sunny quai with sunbathing singles. PAPER ISLAND DATING ... ON PAPER ISLAND ... OF COURSE
WHAT TO DO, IF YOU FIND A NEW FRIEND<
We suggest you visit "The Little Mermaid", simply because that is what you have had to see.
From "The Little Mermaid" you can spot the kay of Reffen. This is a perfect street-food hub with evening sunshine.
Paper Island is iconic architecture. Take a bus to Grundtvigs Kirke if you want to discover unique Danish architecture. The church has Cathedral image and the acoustics with the grand organ is exceptional. You may be lucky to experience a concert.
The painting artist Dorte Mahler is exhibiting at Restaurant Judie / Cafe Liva Boat, Nyhavn 26, where you can also dine "smorrebrod" while viewing the Nyhavn buildings.
Browsing around in Copehagen you can be lucky to meet "Captain Mike and His Piano" . It is right on Kongens Nytorv precisely in front of Magazin du Nord and McDonalds. Or, sometimes on The Pedestrian Street near by.
Pass by and sing and scream with folks, or, sit by Captain Mike's Piano and stream your talent to the world. Depending on the summer weather he will be there every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday, from 10 P.M. to max. 02 A.M.
Worth joining. And it's FREE.

ARTMONEY A regular visitor at the Paper Island is the founder of ARTMONEY.ORG * If you are a creative artist this platform may interest you. You simply create an artwork 12 x 18 cm, and sell it for approx. 50 USD each to collectors. Once you become more famous, the collectors will trade your artwork at a higher price. Artmoney.org was founded more than 25 years ago. The owner, Lars, unfortunately sold his project to a lawyer, and then .... of course ... the project fell apart. However, year 2026 he regained his project, and is now re-establishing it as a currency - each 50 USD - to be traded in the world. Ocationally you find Lars on The Paper Island. Collectors can buy artmoney as original art for just DKK 350, approx. 50 USD. The works are purchased at exhibitions or by contacting the individual artist. There is no commission on the sale of artmoney, so all the money goes to the artist himself.
